King’s College London wishes to appoint a 2-year fixed term Teaching Fellow in Medieval French Studies. You will contribute teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the area of pre-modern French Studies; you will also contribute teaching for other core elements of the syllabus of programmes in French and engage fully in the educational strategy of the Department. As role holder, you will undertake pastoral tutorial duties and contribute to the academic administrative duties of the Department of French as instructed by the Head of Department. As a guideline the Faculty’s workload model stipulates that full time Teaching Fellows will normally have 160-225 contact hours per year (equivalent to c.8-11 contact hours per week in term time, the precise number of hours reflecting the nature of the teaching and the experience of the Teaching Fellow).
